Dr. Indira Alvarez, Au.D., F-AAA
Dr. Alvarez has lived in Florida all her life. She graduated with honors from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders and a clinical Doctorate in Audiology. She completed residencies with Department of Veteran’s Affairs, All Children’s Hospital, and several private practice clinics. She is bilingual and a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and licensed to practice in the state of Florida. Her specialties are geriatric aural rehabilitation and tinnitus and she is Board Certified in Audiology.
Dr. Alvarez has been a guest lecturer regarding the effects of hearing loss and aging at the University of South Florida, and published in the Florida Academy of Audiology’s The Advocate, The Hearing Review and The Hearing Journal. She lives in Ponce Inlet with her husband and two boys, Adrian and Ben, and her Welsh Terrior, Ginger. She loves to create things- she sews, knits, paints and draws, and any given Sunday you will find her at the beach making something with her hands.
Heather Curry, H.A.S.
Heather Curry is a Hearing Aid Specialist Certified by the State of Florida. She specializes in Hearing Instrument Sciences, exploring hearing impairments and related audiological problems. Her procedures include audiometric testing to determine the type, degree and configuration of hearing loss along with patient assessment, hearing aid verification and proper selection of hearing aid benefit. She understands the importance of speech intelligibility and is dedicated to ensuring her patients are getting the full benefit of their hearing aids.
Heather has been intricate part of leading Palm Coast Hearing Center to earn the honor of being voted Best Hearing Aid Provider through our communities Reader’s Choice Award. Heather is a Florida native and has lived in Palm Coast for 13 years with her husband Paul. They have 5 children and 7 grandchildren. When Heather isn’t working, she loves to spending time with her family, fishing and serving at her local church.
Raul Landete – Audiology Technician
Raul is originally from Cuba and has lived in Florida for over 35 years and is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. He is a CompTIA A+ certified computer technician and received his A.S degree in Electronic & Computer Engineering from Tampa Technical Institute in 2000. He loves to tinker with all things mechanical, listening to audio books and working in the yard. He is married to Dr. Alvarez, the clinical director, and together they are the co-owners of Palm Coast Hearing Center since August 2020. Together they have two boys and a little Welsh Terrier named Ginger.
Wendy Serino – Office Manager
Wendy is the Office Manager at Palm Coast Hearing Center. With a strong background in administrative and back-office operations, she enjoys keeping things running smoothly and supporting both the team and patients with care and professionalism. She moved to Florida ten years ago and has loved calling it home. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, spending time with her three children, and getting ready to welcome her first grandchild. She also active in her church community, which brings her joy and connection.
